Description
Mosaic Genesis represents a hybrid of IsoTek’s two statement technologies combined into a single half width chassis with a total of 5 outlets, 3 of which are for front-end source components and 2 for high current electronics.
The front-end is driven by a single regenerative cell from the mighty Genesis rated at 300W peak, 150W continuous. Unlike existing mains regenerators, IsoTek’s Mosaic Genesis builds a completely new sine wave within its generation cell.
An extremely low distortion synchronous sine wave generator creates a fully optimised signal inside the cell, which is amplified by a 300W generation engine running in Class A/B and fed to a high-quality output transformer with copper foil between the primary and secondary output, thus preventing distortion and noise passing through the unit. The result is 150W of continuous, newly generated power.
A critical part of the process is IsoTek s unique synchronous sine wave system, which replicates the frequency with zero variation so as not to create destructive harmonic distortions (beat frequencies) between the incoming mains supply and the generated electricity.
In addition to eliminating distortion and producing an ultra-stable sine wave, the Mosaic Genesis also controls mains voltage, ensuring the output voltage is maintained at 230V +/- 2%. By way of comparison, the European standard is 230V +/- 10%
The end result is an extremely precise and consistent 230V/50Hz mains sine wave with vanishingly low levels of distortion, independent of the input quality of the power line. Whatever the level of distortion of the incoming mains supply,
Genesis delivers exceptionally low THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) of between 0.05% and 0.17% with typical loads, remaining well below 0.3% with even the most complex loads.
The high-current outlets are powered bya light version of Titan’s nine-stage conditioning network.
Parallel filter sections achieve an incredibly low impendence, high current supply within a compact form factor.
This network offers a 75dB reduction of RFI whilst delivering 4600W continuously.
The power delivery cables used within the Mosaic Genesis are wired with IsoTek’s newly developed UPOCCP, (Ultra Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting Process) solid core internal wire. This technology has been applied to the manufacturing of single crystallized copper with the process of heated mould continuous casting. The resulting product has small rods of OCC pure copper, from which the wire can be drawn and which can have Copper grains of over 700 ft length.
IsoTek then silver plates this already statement purity copper before winding a strand of FEP Teflon around the solid conductor creating a dielectric of virtual air, over which a secondary FEP Teflon tube is extruded.
Lastly the EVO3 Mosaic Genesisfeatures100,000A of instantaneous protection.
IsoTek’s unique advanced protection system uses apyramidarray of VDR devices that offer protection and react more aggressively as the fault becomes more dangerous.
